Important Note: I am credited with establishing the Sports Sociology in India, as a regular Research Committee within the Indian Sociological Society. I am also credited with establishing “Sports Sociology” within the scheme of HRD in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sports Section, Government of India, for which I am thankful. This will ensure the growth of Sports Sociological Studies in India.

Professional Profile

  • Currently working as a Senior Faculty Member at the Divisional Teaching Centre, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Kanpur.
  • Accomplished career demonstrating consistent success as an Administrator at the Life Insurance Corporation of India. Outstanding track record of more than 31 years as an Officer.
  • Effective communicator with excellent planning, organizational, and negotiation strengths as well as the ability to lead, reach consensus, establish goals, and attain results. Worked with the Human Resources department at the Zone level, managed recruitments, promotion rounds, articulated negotiations with trade unions, worked towards research and teaching/training development programs and dealt with legal issues.
  • Extensive Secretarial background at Zone level. Managing Board Meetings, scheduling coordination at different levels, and looking after the overall administrative management as a representative of the Executive Director at the Zone level comprising of more than 268 offices within the States of U.P. and Uttarakhand.
  • Experienced as an Editorof the Zonal House Magazine “Pragati” during my stint with the Corporate Communications department. Seasoned at dealing with the Press and Media and organizing Press Meetings. Also far-reaching knowledge of the outdoor publicity.
  • Creatively demonstrated my ability with the Internal Audit Department by designing official audit tours to the auditors for financial audit of all the 268 units spread over the States of U.P. and Uttarakhand. The audit portal package through efficient administration of the entire computer systems was supervised and managed by me single handedly.
