Pavel Vovk is an EFL English teacher at the Talk915 online school, an editor, and a poet.
Education and Academic Qualifications:
2018: He earned M.A. in Political Science from MIEPU. The title of the graduate thesis is “The Liberal-Communitarian Debate and its Key Figures.”
2019-2022: He cooperated with the editorial department of The Open Court Publishing Company, which is headquartered in La Salle, IL.
2022-2024: He worked as an online school instructor. He was engaged in the development of his own methodological materials for various English educational programs and textbooks, both foreign and domestic, e.g., Enjoy English, Cutting Edge, etc. The emphasis of the materials was on competence at phonetics. He developed them in different formats, such as video, forms, online games, and self-composed rhymes, as well as various texts adhering to common phonetic and syllable patterns.
2022-present: He cooperates with the advertising departments of commercial companies and is engaged in professional video editing and the development of video adverts for YouTube channels.
As of now, Pavel Vovk is preparing to enter the postgraduate program at The Russian Academy of Fundamental and Social Sciences Named after Academician M.V. Lomonosov.
Range of Interests: Political philosophy, theoretical sociology, contemporary Anglophone linguistics, the history of Continental Rationalism, Francophone Cartesian philosophy, poetry.
